Interview
By far the worst screening call I've had in my decades of interview experience. I was already skeptical after noticing another review from April 2025 mentioning the same interviewer, and unfortunately, my experience confirmed those concerns.
She could not have been more disinterested or ill-prepared. She rushed through a scripted prompt about Peloton at what felt like triple speed, all while audibly munching on food throughout our call. Her demeanor made it abundantly clear that I was an inconvenience rather than a candidate. She asked me a single, surface-level question about my experience and interest in Peloton, offered no commentary or follow-ups, and immediately pivoted to asking about my salary expectations. The entire interaction was brief, dismissive, and laced with condescension.
While I understand that initial screening calls are typically short, I have never encountered such an unprofessional recruiter in a corporate setting. Peloton—and any company, for that matter—should recognize that these calls serve as a first impression of their organization. The person conducting them is, in many ways, a representative of the brand. This experience has completely soured my perception of Peloton and has ensured that I will never apply again.
Despite my years of experience that clearly align with the role, I received a rejection email today. To no surprise, it was nothing more than a repurposed, generic prompt.
This entire process has felt dismissive and perfunctory, from the rushed and unprofessional screening call to the impersonal rejection. It’s frustrating to see a company treat candidates this way, especially when they claim to value talent and experience.

Interview
Recruiter was very responsive and kept me in the loop in every step of the way. Hiring manager was very clear on expectations and skills required. They were both very helpful in describing the recent challenges the company has faced and what the current company goals were.
