A very pleasant experience chatting with the professor hiring and one of the senior research program associates. Because of the dispersed, global nature of academia we conducted the interview over Skype. I was on holiday in a remote part of South America at the time and the interviewers were very accommodating with the intermittent difficulties of the satellite internet connection.

The interview took place over a Zoom call and was fairly casual. Instead of a question-and-answer format, it was more of a conversation about science. The interviewer asked about my career aspirations and motivations for the work. I also met with the team to get a better idea of how working there is like.
