Spoke with 7 people (some in pairs) over 30 min Zoom calls throughout a 6 week process. Interviewers were nice but unprepared with some not showing up to the call at all, leaving me to interview with one of the scheduled 2 for that 30 min time slot.
Company highlighted how they are scrappy, nimble, start-up mode but I was left with the impression the company is unfocused, doesn't plan well, and is subtly asking for the candidate to like working in chaos. This instinct was further confirmed when at the final interview, I picked up that the VP didn't understand the purpose of the role. A week later the recruiter tells me they are re-leveling the role and payscale, title would be adjusted. It isn't the level or pay structure I interviewed for - politely declined but certainly upset they wasted time for everyone.
