I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Perkins Eastman (Washington, DC) in Jan 2020
Interview
I was lucky enough to get set up for an interview by someone I knew working at the firm. I was interviewed by 3 people and it went on for about an hour. It was a very typical interview - we started talking about my background, work experience and they asked me a lot of questions of what I like to do outside of design and work.
I went through my work portfolio and then they gave me a brief about their company and office culture. Afterwards, one of the lead designers gave me a tour of the office and said I would hear back within the week, followed up with an email but did not hear back.
