I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at PernixData
Interview
I was contacted by some colleagues in the Industry to discuss a role at Pernix data.
It was extremely difficult to schedule time with the VP to discuss the role , he was very unresponsive.
Once the call was scheduled, he was late for the call, short and not engaging at all.
I sent thank you notes, information regarding business plans and not even a thank you or any kind of a acknowledgement that he read the information I put together.
After our second discussion he mentioned he would get back to me in two days, never heard from him so I followed up with him to let him know I was just sending him a courtesy note from our previous discussion.
He moved on with another canidate, which I understand.. but why not be respectful and professional and just send out a quick note?
Ive hired several people in my career, and I think its a professional courtesy to follow up with candidates if you decide not to move forward with them

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at PernixData
Interview
Two phone interviews and an in person interview. The people were decent. I was told in the middle of the interview that I wouldn't be chosen so I didn't bother sending and thank you letters because i knew the rejection letter would come. I was a good sport and still went through the rest of the interview as practice for others.
