Process was good overall, and I was given a strong implication I was a top contender for the position. I was told that I would hear back in a week, and when following up I was basically ghosted. I continued to reach out, just for confirmation that I did not receive the role or if there was just a. delay. I think everyone appreciates communication, and a simple response would have gone a long way in my book. I probably would have applied to other openings even with rejection, but it just felt very unprofessional to go from updates/communication to ghosting.
