Called me for an interview where the JD said automation testing skills as . After initial round of interview they tell me that it is mainly a manual testing work with less importance to automation. Then the second level interview also I get the same hint. Then the interviewer goes to check if any HR panel is available and asks me to wait. After waiting for 2 hrs, when I saw so movement, I asked at the reception then some recruiter comes and tells me that the spoc will give the feedback and the role was on performance testing. I guess they weren't even aware of what position they wanted to hire for. Had they told this to me after the second round, I could have saved 2 hrs of my day. The recruitment team seemed to me as utter disrespectful of the candidates' time.
