Title: Disappointing Experience with Delayed Communication in the Hiring Process I recently went through a four-round interview process for a position, including two technical rounds, a manager round, and a face-to-face HR interview. Despite successfully clearing all rounds, my experience has taken a disappointing turn due to issues related to location preference and delayed communication. I expressed my interest in joining the company but requested a change in the location, citing personal responsibilities. While the company initially responded positively, the subsequent communication has been consistently delayed, leaving me in a state of uncertainty. I have diligently followed up with the HR department, seeking clarity on the status of my request. However, the prolonged delays and lack of a definitive response have been disheartening. As a candidate, I believe it's crucial to receive timely feedback, whether positive or negative, as it allows for better decision-making and planning. It's disheartening to feel that the responsiveness of HR may favor those who withdraw at the last minute over candidates genuinely eager to contribute and diligently follow up. I am not interested anymore in this position and decided to decline if they respond.
