First stage was an HR phone call.
Second stage was a e-meeting with a group lead - the meeting was to explain about the company and the position and for me to describe my previous jobs.
Third stage was a e-meeting with the chief architect with a personal touch - no professional questions at all.
The forth was a meeting with the chief architect and an architect from the meeting, there was 30 mins of a design question and the rest about development process, such as agile ci/cd and so on.
The fifth was a meeting with VP r&d which was nice but again no professional questions at all, just personal question to see if I fit the company or not.
The sixth and last stage was a HR meeting.
After all those stage I got a phone call that they decided to move forward with other candidates (legit can happen)
When I asked for reason why and how can I improve they said there were professional gaps between my knowledge and what they are looking for 🤨
So I wonder, how did they found those gaps with 30 minute of professional question only?!?
If they saw those gaps why did they continue to the next stages with me?!?
The overall recruitment process was very odd and gave a bad taste and left me confused
