I was interviewed by a manager on her last day on the job (Bad choice of an interviewer, though she was great). She recommended to continue the process with me (so I understood she found my profile fit). Next, I got a take-home assignment that was not clear, and indeed it turned to be that they *sent me the wrong document*(!). Luckily I did not start working on it before I asked for clarifications. Then - *I* had to remind HR to schedule a meeting for my home-assignment presentation. Really. On the presentation - 2 of the 3 participants did not even have their cameras on during the entire meeting (except of the first and last 3 min or so). The presentation was great, and they gave me very good feedback on the spot. I was sure that we're on the right track. But then, over *1 week* later - I get a phone call where they told me that actually I was not the profile they were looking for. Are you serious??? You made me work on the presentation (I invested 2-3 days) even though my profile was not a good fit to begin with? I found the entire process messy, sloppy and with NO respect to people's time (including the interviewers). Considering this - their 'No' was actually good news for me. Beware.
