I applied in-person. I interviewed at PetSmart (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) in Nov 2016
Interview
I applied online and then went into the store and was able to speak with the hiring manager. He then scheduled a interview with me for another day. I was super excited. The day of the interview, things were going well and he was asking me general questions and then all of a sudden he says, "you are quiet, we are going to have to fix that." It was such an off putting thing to say. It's important for the person who is being interviewed to be professional but the person giving the interview has to be professional as well. It really wasn't professional to say at all and he said it in such a prideful way. It was very hurtful and you shouldn't say those things to someone you are just meeting. It was in my book disrespectful and not encouraging. I also had another interview I think with the general manager and he was rushing through it and I felt like he did the interview for the sake of "pretending that he was interested." It went way too fast and he rushed me out.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at PetSmart (Winnipeg, MB)
Interview
I got a call from the store manager two days after I applied to schedule an interview. Then I had the interview with 2 team members and a background check after.
Good interview. Ask a lot of good very insightful questions. Cares about who they were talking to. Would recommend talking with this company. Was not hard at all. Just be prepared.
