I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Petco (Frisco, TX) in Oct 2016
Interview
1. Saw they were hiring (signs at the store)
2. Applied online
3. Brief, basic interview with the store manager
4. Received and took job offer the same day as the interview
Overall took several days, very quick. Pay was semi-negotiable, I just asked for what other people were claiming to make on Glassdoor. This location was short on staff, so that may have made things easier and given more leverage than normal.
