Applied a few weeks ago for a sales position in San Diego and I did not get a confirmation email. I would've like to have received a denial email at least.
Fairly standard sales approach and questions. It started with a 30-minute recruiter screen covering background and quota attainment, then a 60-minute hiring manager interview focused on sales methodology, deal cycles, and objection handling. Final round was a panel with a mock cold call / role-play and deep dive on past numbers.

Walk me through exactly how you would prospect and close your first 3 clients here in your first 90 days, and tell me about a deal you lost recently and what you would do differently.
good interview they had a lot of good questions and they wanted to learn about the actual person not just resume readers. Was an easy interview and hoping to hear back next steps soon.
You said you’d call—never did. Claimed I imagined it. Swore we never had plans. I showed the texts. He blinked, said, “You misunderstood.” I guess I hallucinated the calendar too?
