Interview
It really varies from location to location. They have a very brief standardized questionnaire for group interviews but that’s about it. I talked with the SL first and he ask me a verity of questions about myself and my skills. He also went over the company structure and what kinds of tasks we were expected to complete. Then I had a second interview with the GEL which was very similar.

Why other than the animals do you want to work here?
This started as an open group interview, that then moved to individual interviews. The group process happened in the front of the store, with the individual process moving to the office. Overall quick and painless.
It was pretty easy. The interviewer asks questions provided by Petco. My interview was short as the interviewer wanted it to go quick, but I don't believe this is the norm. Many questions are related to having a previous job.
