Called me for interview and set up day/time. Pretty standard, meet in store and interview in office. Then walked onto salesfloor for the "trick" questions. I probably should have turned the job down when they wanted me to immediately start, that night. I had other interviews to get to. Why wait untli you're desperate to hire?

The manager at the time (no longer there) asked me about my church habits. After a number of years of experience I learned exactly how illegal that was lol.
This started as an open group interview, that then moved to individual interviews. The group process happened in the front of the store, with the individual process moving to the office. Overall quick and painless.
It was pretty easy. The interviewer asks questions provided by Petco. My interview was short as the interviewer wanted it to go quick, but I don't believe this is the norm. Many questions are related to having a previous job.
