An executive recruiter from PetCo reached out to do a quick screening and provide information about a role she was recruiting for. Overall, the process was poorly managed for a senior level role. I participated in 2 hours worth of interviews but received absolutely no follow up. The interviewers (senior executives) did not seem aligned on the role description and were not well prepared. Normally, a relaxed interview process could be a positive - but I think this drives the lack of diversity in PetCo senior leadership. Overall, this was a subpar interview experience and the lack of follow up from the executive recruiting was highly unprofessional.
