Interview
I had a superb interview.. or so I thought. I would say I was perfectly qualified if not overly. I have tons of work with animals as I've done dirty and tough shelter work all my life. I have worked on a ranch too dealing with filthy barns and horses to top it off. I have experience with all types of animals. I felt that we really clicked and had a few laughs and related so much to troubles we've been through at the workplace. He told me to have my phone at the ready for when he would call me. He never did. I got a rejection email 24 hours later. So sad.

What was a time where you needed to pay attention to extreme detail because it was so important?
Straight forward and not difficult. It's just a standard retail interview, no curveballs, no trick questions. Just practice a little beforehand and it'll go smoothly. Make sure to ask questions of your own at the end.

Do you have experience handling customers during a rush?
It was a basic sales job interview. Basically they want to know you are a hard worker and kind to animals. I don't think they really care as long as you are willing to work hard.
The interview process is very easy. They are not too picky, they just want to make sure that you will work and can comprehend the simple parts of the job. And that you are okay with small animals.
