One interview, only a few questions. Explained pay and hours and benefits. Running a background check now. They called me and set up an interview. Met the groomed first then the general manager. The only setback was that they put an add out for apprenticeships, then told me I may not be able to start that process for another 4 months!!! In the meantime I would be washing dogs at 7.97 per hour or 30% commission for each dog bathed. For both positions you get paid which ever cash amount is larger. Wasn't expecting minimum wage, I haven't worked for that wage for at least 15-17 years! Hope they are busy. I also want to know if when I'm done apprenticing and get my certification, if that certification is reputable and respected, as well as recognized by other grooming salons.

The interview was very laid back, the lead groomer was incredibly kind and answered all the questions I had. I was shown around the grooming section of the store and met the grooming team.
