I applied online on the Petco website. I was contacted first by email by Human Resources. Arranged a phone screen interview with HR. We had very nice rapport. Then I was asked to fill out an extensive application, including what I did during any breaks in employment. The interview was an hour long with two people who I'd be working with. Very professional people. I'd say dress professionally as they were. I didn't feel I had any trouble with the interview questions (but I didn't get the job either!). Nothing out-of-the-ordinary as questions go. Ask the recruiter how much time to allow for parking. I don't wish to reveal the location of my interview, but spent 30 minutes finding parking and walking to the front doors!
