I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Pew Charitable Trusts
Interview
I went through 3 rounds of interviews: one screening interview with HR, and two technical and behavioral interviews with the team. Team was great and organized, but HR was not. On several occasions, the recruit was late to calls, or missed them entirely, and would ignore my emails on time sensitive issues for days at a time (after asking for answers ASAP). The worst was that they overlooked my immigration status (despite my disclosure on the application and to the program team) and failed to inform me and the team that they have a strict policy of not hiring any non-US permanent residents - even those with work authorization (and this was not communicated on their Careers page). The team and HR made a verbal offer that had to be rescinded after HR realized their mistake. Programmatic staff at Pew are great but HR is disorganized and inflexible.

Screening process was very easy and they were super respectful. Only issue was how long it takes to move to each step in the hiring process, but I think that’s just how the market is these days.
