Applied through a job site, recruiter followed up about three weeks after application. Interviewed with a few team members before completing a case study followed by one last interview by division lead. Offer came 1-2 work days after that.
Completing case studies is not new, but I never had the feeling that my work was potentially about to get ripped off until Philips. The request was beyond massive with minimal time to put it together, the request was also better in line with what outside vendors would deliver.
