Philo has one of the best interview processes I've ever experienced. My direct point of contact, the recruiter, was exceptional and such a sweetheart—helpful and thorough at every stage. He offered prep calls and provided detailed feedback on the pros and cons of my interview performance. Even when I didn't advance, he took the time to have a 30-minute call with me to give constructive feedback on how I could improve, along with insights from the team. This was the best interview process I've encountered, showcasing Philo's respect for their candidates. I would have been thrilled to work with Philo and their talented design team. I will definitely keep an eye out for future openings that are a better fit and continue to improve my interviewing skills. A big thanks to the Philo team for this opportunity.

This was the most disrespectful interview process I'd ever gone through, out of dozens of interview processes. In the portfolio review, there was a large panel and not even half were paying attention. One team member had an animal face filter on and was faced away from the screen, and one interviewer was driving during my Zoom presentation. The questions were surface level and lacked thoughtful feedback. I was told I would hear back soon about next steps, only to never even receive a generic rejection email. The way I found out I was rejected was when I saw a post on Linkedin from the designer they'd decided to hire. When job hunting, especially during the pandemic, I still expect the bare minimum of respect from companies and Philo went above and beyond to show the lack of care they had.
