      Interview

Process as follows: - Screening call - Case study to be completed over the course of 5 days (supposedly 2 hours of work) - Hiring manager - Panel with team and presentation The case study provides minimal instructions and lets you look at raw data to provide recommendations, as well as hear a previous radio spot and provide feedback on future testing. However, I think it's particularly telling that you have to complete a case study as the first steps. The feedback on the case study was that I wasn't detailed enough. Not sure how you gleaned that without ever having a conversation (as you need to complete the case study first). Why any marketer would detail incrementality and various specifics in a free report is beyond me, let alone providing an entire new audio script for a creative assignment. This is freelance work that any skilled marketer would charge for. This amounts to a disingenuous process that just wants you to do way too much legwork.

Thank you for your honest feedback. To clarify, we use outdated data sets for our case studies. The process is designed to see what kind of insights candidates present and get a closer look into their approach to campaign creation and problem solving through simulated working situations. We are in no way seeking to obtain free work from any of our candidates. We’re very sorry to hear that you had a poor experience and will take your feedback into serious consideration for how we can improve the interview process and how we communicate project feedback to candidates moving forward.

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Philo in Jul 2021

You need to do a case study even before meeting with the hiring manager! And the hiring manager didn’t even open her camera during the video interview. Looks like she just wanted to half-ass the interview and end it ASAP . If so, then why bother arranging the presentation interview? Stay away.
