I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Piedmont Healthcare in Jul 2015
Interview
Received a call and email from HR with details of interview. Met with 1 individual who was the hiring "manager" ; no panel was provided to ensure objectivity and a fair assessment. Interviewer directly stated she decided to forgo asking any of the traditional scenario based questions and instead directed the conversation as to what I have been doing since my departure from Piedmont (I am a former employee). Overall, interview lasted about an hour and seemed mostly social ( ex: Do you remember so and so?) which was a huge red flag to me and left me with the ideation that the interview was held just to meet an HR requirement/benchmark that they consider and interview former Piedmont employees. Although it was nice to "catch-up", I sincerely went into the interview with the mindset that I would have an amazing opportunity to professionally represent myself and have a panel interview with other hiring unit managers/supervisors. I was very disappointed in this experience and feel completely duped.

You first do a Phone screening with a recruiter In which they ask basic employment questions. Once you pass that you are invited to then interview with department Manager or hiring manager. Very easy.

Interview
Went well, very professional. Straightforward questions and very nice. It took less than 30 minutes. I would not worry about the interview process much. It was just a few questions.

Interview
Manager didn't even come to the interview or bother to call in advance but I was called by a recruiter to reschedule. Typical interview with a manager after a recruiter phone screening. There was another person there that barely spoke the whole time so it was very awkward. Anyway, this place talks about diversity and inclusion being important but then you get on a unit and everyone looks the same so you already know what the outcome is going to be after the interview. If you know, you know.
