      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Piedmont Healthcare

      Interview

I applied online to 3 different Residency programs on the same day. All of them were on different floors at Piedmont. I got a call from HR the next morning. She was very friendly and she asked me a few questions about my resume, clinical experience and what floor I'm interested in. I was then scheduled an interview for the following week. The same person from HR greeted me when I arrive for my interview and introduced me to 2 nurse managers. They were very nice and not at all intimitating. They asked me about 5-7 behavioral questions then They gave me 2 clinical scenarios. One was about infection and the other about a stoke pt. On those 2 questions you have to walk them through the nursing care and what the doctor might order. I thought I messed up on the first question and had no chance of getting the job but they called me the next day with a job offer. Just be as friendly and honest as you can! Overall it lasted about 20 minutes and it was a good experience!
