I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Piedmont Healthcare (Fayetteville, GA) in May 2011
Interview
The interview process was with the manager of the floor I was applying to and a manager from another Med-surg floor. I think the interview lasted between 30 min to 1 hour. It was relaxed but professional. They understood I was a new graduate from nursing school and were patient with me and my answers. They were positive and friendly.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you handled a difficult patient what happened and what did you do

Interview
Went well, very professional. Straightforward questions and very nice. It took less than 30 minutes. I would not worry about the interview process much. It was just a few questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Piedmont Healthcare (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
Manager didn't even come to the interview or bother to call in advance but I was called by a recruiter to reschedule. Typical interview with a manager after a recruiter phone screening. There was another person there that barely spoke the whole time so it was very awkward. Anyway, this place talks about diversity and inclusion being important but then you get on a unit and everyone looks the same so you already know what the outcome is going to be after the interview. If you know, you know.
