Pinger interview questions

I interviewed for a QA position a few weeks back. I have very strong QA background in both individual and lead levels and the only reason I interviewed with these guys was that a recruiter aggressively pursued me. On hindsight it was a waste of time. The issues I had with the whole process are - 1. There is no clarity on what this role will do. I left the interview confused about this with no clear answers. 2. There seem to be a lot of emphasis on falling in line, and respecting the "chain of command". 3. The QA manager is very inexperienced and came off as such in the interview. She was very defensive when I tried to ask about the methodologies, automation strategy and tools. This was a big red flag. 4. The CTO came across as aloof and absent (rude in some respect) - in the 30 minutes I talked to him, he checked his phone 5 times. 5. The engineers I talked to were OK , some of them even good.
