The interview process was generally okay. The assignment and coding rounds were fairly straightforward and easy. However, the technical interview with the team lead didn’t go well. He asked a variety of open-ended questions, but he fixated on one in particular: 'What did you notice when implementing TypeScript in an existing JavaScript project?' I responded by mentioning how it helped reveal and fix type-related issues, as well as uncover previously unknown bugs. Despite my answer, he kept repeating the same question, which made me think he was looking for a specific response he had in mind. Ultimately, I was rejected.
