I wouldn't normally review an interview, but this one was so poorly handled not to mention. I was discouraged even before talking on the phone with them about taking the job. They said I was over qualified, but I didn't think it would hurt to hear more about the job. They scheduled me last minute and could not remember any of the contact info I provided in the same email thread. They told me I would be bored on the job and that their fx tool for importing assets was primitive. Something they poorly cobbled together in house because it was cheaper. Generally had nothing positive to say about the job other than a clearly scripted spiel they had to repeat for every candidate at the beginning. They proceeded to repeatedly insult my portfolio indicating they personally thought I was not good enough for a job they described as dull. Then asked about my interests and hobbies in an incoherent sentence that indicated sheer boredom. The interviewer was lacking basic social skills and etiquette on the phone.
