I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Planet Fitness (New York, NY) in Nov 2015
Interview
applied and got a Interview within the week. Process was easy. They asked common interview questions. I signed a few forms and gave them my ID card and Social Security card so they can scan it. They told me I would need brown pants so I brought five pairs of pants. One week go by I call them and the manager say we will get back to you in two weeks. Two weeks go by they tell me please be patient will get back to you with an nasty attitude. I have every right to ask when I'm starting and so on etc. After you tell me I have the job now I don't have the job? after I wasted the last of my cash on the pants they told me I needed. If this was the case you could have just told me the TRUTH instead of putting me on a wild goose chase. Thanks a lot Planet Fitness

The interview process was very good. Just a couple of questions and I was off. Manager was very kind, polite and friendly during the interview. Did not expect as much from a minimum wage job.
It took almost two weeks to get a call for an interview. I had a phone interview with the general manager. I was asked a few questions before I was schedule for an interview in person.

I was asked about my availability and customer service experience.
I received a quick 15-minute phone screening followed by meeting with the area and club managers. This all happened within about 2 weeks. I’d say the process was fairly typical to other similar positions.
