Plume’s director of Staffing contacted me via my Linkedin profile. My entire interview process got closed by Nov 2017 end. By Dec 1st week I had offer. It was around 2-3 weeks process, much shorter than any other interview process I recently had. After the initial talk over phone with Staffing director., I had a phone interview with VP of Eng. and a Sr. Engineer. I got a good overview of their product platform and business. The next week my on-site interview was scheduled. The interview lasted for around 6 hours. I was asked a lot about my past projects, then a coding question. The entire process was focused on how I would approach and solve a problem. Scala questions, spark questions. Very mature interview. After the interview, I was asked to complete a small take-home scala project. I completed that over the weekend. The interviewer was satisfied with my solution, however he suggested that I could use more scala features. I was very impressed with the Staffing Dir. who found my profile in LinkedIn. The job profile exactly matched my current job and skills. This job required my WiFi, cloud, controller (Wireless Controller, SDN), and scala experience
