I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Pluralsight (Boston, MA) in Jan 2020
Interview
I was first contacted for a short phone screen with a non-expert. Following this interview, I was sent a take-home data science challenge and told to spend less than 5 hours on it. The challenge was difficult but not unreasonable, and took me near the full 5 hours to complete. I submitted the answers in a PDF format, but later learned they were looking for an RMarkdown file, Jupyter notebook, or equivalent.
I was then contacted for a second interview, this time with a data scientist, completed over a video call. I was told that this would be to review the data science challenge, but in my case little time was spent on the challenge, and more on general questions about my experience.
I was then contacted for a third round of interviews, this time in person with the team I would potentially work with. In this interview, more specific questions about the data science challenge were asked in addition to more general questions.

Interview
Misleading and drawn-out interview process. After hours of interviews and multiple projects to complete on my own time, including an interview initially described as a final round, I have not received any updates from the company.
Series of phone interviews and zoom type video calls. The process was fine, nothing special. They also requested I complete an at home project for them which I didn't really have time for.
