I applied online. I interviewed at PointClickCare (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2018
Interview
If someone at PCC reads this: please note that your company is great; but some people in your HR department are the most disorganized and unprofessional that I have seen. I am someone who has been interviewed before at PCC (in 2017) and found the process to be ok; but this experience was horrendous to say the least - so much that I am writing this detailed Glassdoor post to let you know of this experience.
I applied to this job and in 2 weeks, I got a response from one HR person who asked me for a first interview. I mentioned to him that I am interested and asked if something can be scheduled in 4 days. I did not hear back from him. In 3 days, I got an auto-email from PCC saying that the candidates have been finalized and I have not been selected. Confused, I reached out to the HR person who was interested in interviewing, letting him know. He responded promptly, saying that I received that in error and that my interview would still go ahead. I said ok and asked if a certain time would work - again no responses for 2 days. On the day of interview (the date which I had proposed), I asked him again if we are talking - he said sorry and asked me for a different time. I suggested a few other timeslots and after a couple of days, he agreed on one.
Day of interview, he did call me and the conversation was done within 8 minutes (for most of which he kept talking more), he did not ask me anymore than 2 questions. He mentioned that he will notify me by end of day or tomorrow on the response.
It's been a month and I have not heard from this guy.
If someone at PCC reads this, I can share with them the whole email chain as proof of this discussion - again as I mentioned, PCC would be a great company, and having interviewed before, I have not faced such lack of professionalism from anyone else. But this was a horrendous and horrible experience. You really would want to reconsider hiring such HR personnel and get rid off people who potentially push away deserving candidates and treat anyone like how I was.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at PointClickCare (Wauwatosa, WI) in Jul 2018
Interview
5 interview process that took roughly 2.5 months which I understand is relatively quick for an external hire. Everyone was very professional yet down to earth, and HR was very responsive in keeping me posted on the overall process.
