      Executive Project Manager Interview

      Mar 28, 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Chennai
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Polaris FT (Chennai) in Sep 2013

      Interview

One of the most interesting interviews I had. I really liked the level of interview, as I was being interviewed for a senior role, yet on a technical level. In most places, the interview will be very low-level, like asking questions fit for a 5 year experienced person, to a 14 year experienced person, but not here. The interview questions were right on the level for a 14 year experienced person to answer. It was more participatory discussion than a question-answer session. Really liked the interviewer for letting me speak freely, put in the right stops during my responses, ask the right questions and taking the interview in the right direction towards making me explain about myself and making myself understood clearly. Enjoyed the interview.

      Question 1

Nothing difficult or unexpected, but the questions helped me decide whether I want to play a pure project manager role or a techno-managerial role.
