I ended up with four rounds of interviews, including the initial screening. Was set up for a fifth which was cancelled at the last minute. Recruiter was responsive and nice. Team all seemed great. However, I reached out to the hiring manager and never go a reply. Then when I was told they were making a decision they came back and said they were pausing the role. After dragging me and whoever else through four rounds of interviews. Then they UNpaused the role. Then they said they made an offer to someone else. Such a roller coaster, and team really made it seem like I had it in the bag. Seemed to be going through lots of changes and they don't seem to know what they are doing in HR, so I guess I dodged a bullet with that one. Goes to show that employers need to care about candidate experience.
