      I interviewed at Practice Fusion

      Interview

Applied online through referral, contacted for phone screen 2 days later, immediately set up phone interview with hiring manager same day, contacted for on-site 7 days later, notified via email about rejection 2 days later. Phone screen was 20-30 minutes:"tell me what you think this job entails?" and "why PF?" then the rest was set aside for questions about salary and start date. Phone interview was 45 mins-1 hour: "talk about a complex project you managed?", "talk about a time when you had to handle difficult personalities?", "talk about your experience in sales?" where the last question threw me and I had to get by by talking about my indirect sales experience. On-site was 4-5 hours consisting of 1-on-1 interviews with individual team members and 1 case scenario test with 2 interviewers. Interviewers consisted of leads I'd be working directly with. Each asked standard questions, "Why PF?", "Why are you leaving your company?", "What do you want out of your next position?", "Talk about a time when you a project failed?", "Talk about your greatest achievement at your last company?", etc. The case was challenging yet open-ended. It's just an opportunity for them to understand your thought process better. I was given 20 minutes to review the case. The prompt was 500 words detailing the scenario, and there were 6 questions asking about how one would handle the scenario. I was left on my own, where I furiously reviewed and took notes about the prompt, and thought about my responses. Afterwards, I had 15 minutes (give-or-take) to go through my responses. Then the interviewers asked me a handful of follow-up questions about my responses or twists on the scenario. My general impression of the position was that it would be extremely busy and lively. The work would be cut-and-dry, and there would be opportunities to really own the position and get promoted quickly. The role would be working very closely with tons of different higher-ups, and would be a highly visible role.
