Company is just getting out of some turmoil, internal tensions seemed to be pretty self-evident throughout interview process. Company does not seem to have clear exit strategy, layoffs have occurred recently, changes in c staff not too long ago as well. One of the team members I met with actually mentioned the hiring manager was one that liked to micro manage, and the team member also said they have considered leaving several times over the past couple of years. Compensation is on the low end and the equity is worthless given the company has no clear sense of direction or a pathway to IPO/Acquisition. Interview was fairly straightforward, people were nice, but I got the sense that this is not the place you want to bet your career on (unless you are unable to find another job). I was extended an offer, but I ended up accepting an opportunity at another company.
