      Front Desk Administrative Assistant Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Practice Fusion

      Interview

After 2 phone interviews and 2 in person interviews where I spoke with a total of 5 people over the course of a month I have to say to be ghosted by this organization was inexcusable. Add to that they literally were wasting my time (and others I can imagine) interviewing for a position that had never even been approved by their CEO which means there was a huge possibility that there would be no offer at the end of the lengthly interview process. Completely and utterly unprofessional. The role was multi-faceted and part of the duties would be to assist with recruiting efforts. After the run around I received from the head recruiter at Practice Fusion I can only imagine the amount of talent this company has lost out on over the poor recruiting process they have. Another part of the role would involve helping the Events Manager plan events for team bonding or “fun” days – something that I am well versed in. Eager to show the range of ideas I brought to the table I rattled off a list of possibilities – each one she eagerly jotted down. How nice that when I left that round of interviews she had a long list of unique ideas…lucky her! I am happy I made her job that much easier! No follow up unless I contacted the onsite recruiter first even when she set dates and times where she would be reaching out to speak to me. Instead of being up front about the status of the position it took multiple emails to her to even get a straight answer. Then after sending a final email to ask for a last update I was led to believe that a new position was coming up that they wanted me for and she would touch base that week when she had more details. 2 months later and I am still waiting for that call. You know if someone is consistently checking in over 2+ months with regards to the position they applied for the very least the onsite recruiter can do is be honest. I can only imagine the way other candidates have been treated – my advice is to avoid and not be one of them!

We are very sorry for your experience. We pride ourselves in providing the best candidate experience and yet you came away with a very poor one. We apologize for that. Your situation was not typical, however given the nature of start-ups and our teams changing priorities, the role we had originally opened over time evolved into something else. Again, we are very sorry again for the experience you had with us and will take this as a learning experience.
