      Customer Support Specialist Interview

      Mar 25, 2013
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Practice Fusion in Mar 2013

      Interview

The whole thing was unprofessional. I received an e-mail by a recruiter wanting to set up and initial phone screen for the position. I had to send up two follow up e-mails in order to receive a response. I was finally able to set up a date for the phone screen. The phone interview was very pleasant, it was pretty standard asking about my qualifications and what I know about the company. I thought I did a really good job on the interview as I was well prepared and was able to engage the conversation. I was told that I will receive a follow up within the coming day. A week later and two follow up e-mails I still have not received a response. Overall it was was just too unprofessional on the whole process.

      Interview

Received invitation for phone interview within two days of applying. Phone interview was very basic, set up an in-person interview shortly thereafter. I was all revved up for the interview as I sat in reception waiting for the HR woman, but my enthusiasm fell flat within 5 seconds of meeting her. She acted completely bored right away, almost as if she couldn't care less about hiring someone and was only going through the motions to appease a quota. Met with two other managers while I was there. One was pleasant but the other just glared at me every time I opened my mouth, which was a surprise since we discovered we knew some of the same people. They've been posting the same positions over and over again for many months so I'm wondering if they are not in fact hiring but are simply meeting quotas set by investors/upper management. Surely a waste of everyone's time.

      Application

      Interview

I applied through their website on a Saturday and received an email from an HR recruiter to set up a phone interview for that Monday. The phone interview was very straight forward, it basically just confirmed my resume. I was then invited for an in-person interview for the following week. Interview - I first interviewed with the HR recruiter I had been working with. She seemed very uninterested and paid more attention to her dog. I then interviewed with two managers from the department, who were very energetic and friendly. Finally, I interviewed with the lead rep of the department. He seemed to have quite the ego and did not make eye contact or look at me throughout the interview. I had been in the interview for over an hour and a half and at this point was very annoyed with the guy's personality. I guess it showed because I did not hear a word after the interview. I do not think I could have worked with that guy anyway. Moving on to the next!
