      Account Executive Interview

      Mar 18, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Precisely in Jan 2024

      Interview

There were 5 interviews in total. The final round was a round with five managers where I had to give a presentation on a given topic. After the 5th interview I received an offer. From then on I no longer felt like I was in the right place. There are no real benefits with Precisly - not even a stupid fruit basket. The fact that employees have to be valued has apparently not yet been established in this company. The highlight, however, was the background checks. You essentially “voluntarily” give up your human dignity and your right to data protection before signing the contract. I don't want to work for a company like that.

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Precisely (Melbourne)

      Interview

By far the most unprofessional and disgusting interview process I have experienced. Passed all the previous interviews, received verbal offer and confirmation that a contract would be sent out on the Monday - I'm thinking great, I'll do the right thing and inform the other companies I've interviewed with that I've accepted an offer. Come Monday, they pull the offer saying they've found someone else instead. Pathetic. Company roadmap sucks, product is boring - glad I missed out. Dead end job at a dead end company.

We sincerely apologize for the frustration and disappointment you encountered during your interview process with us. I understand how upsetting it must have been to receive a verbal offer only to have it rescinded, and we deeply regret how this situation was handled. While there are occasionally unforeseen changes in hiring needs, this does not excuse a breakdown in communication or professionalism. Your experience clearly did not reflect the standards we hold ourselves to, and we take your feedback seriously. We ensure that candidates are treated with transparency, respect, and the professionalism they deserve at every stage and again apologize this happened during your experience with us as this does not display who we are. While we're disappointed to hear your view of our company and product, we respect your perspective and wish you the very best in your future career journey.

      No offer

      Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Precisely in Mar 2024

      Interview

5 interviews. HR gatekeeper. Hiring Manager (initial), RSM, SE, Hiring Manager (1 hour sales presentation). Nothing too challenging question wise, yet still requiring several hours of my time researching and prepping. Closed and asked for ‘why not?’ Next stage each time. Then silence. Then cursory HR return call saying no, with a very brief and weak feedback snippet from one interviewer. Hey Precisely, when a candidate gives you hours of their time, prepares and presents well, the very least you should do by reciprocation, is to have the hiring manager call back directly, and with solid structured helpful feedback. Don’t hide behind HR for this. It does not reflect well. Time thieves.
