I recently applied for a Sales Development role with Prenuvo in Toronto, and I'd like to share my interview experience. Overall, it was informative, but it had some unexpected twists. The interview began on a positive note, with the interviewer asking about my background and interest in the role. However, things took an unexpected turn when a role-play cold call was introduced, with me playing the part of a Prenuvo salesperson. During the cold call, I was able to present myself confidently, and the interaction seemed to go quite well. However, there was a noticeable shift in the interviewer's demeanor; he appeared surprised and somewhat disappointed. He then proceeded to grill me about Prenuvo's pricing, which isn't publicly available on their website or in the public domain. I found this line of questioning challenging, as pricing details are typically considered confidential and inside knowledge. When I inquired about how the interview had gone, the feedback I received was that I should have done more research on Prenuvo's pricing plans in advance. While I appreciate the importance of preparation, I found it unrealistic to expect candidates to have access to such specific internal information. While I respect Prenuvo's commitment to thorough interviewing, I would encourage them to provide candidates with all necessary information or guidelines for role-play exercises. This would ensure a fair and transparent evaluation process for all applicants, regardless of their prior knowledge of the company's internal details.
