I applied online. I interviewed at Prenuvo in Sep 2024
Interview
I had an initial call with a recruiter which was a standard call, we covered my experience and typical first stage interview questions. I then received an email inviting me to the next stage with two team members. They were friendly but didn’t seem to promote much passion about the role or company. After that, I was invited to the final stage and had to submit my availability for the call. I didn’t hear anything back until I got an email asking for my references. I sent these over to the recruiter and asked if they’d received my availability for the final stage and was told the interview plan had changed and the final stage wasn’t needed (had I not asked, I don’t think I would have been told this). My references were invited to have a call, and they told me how it sounded like things were very positive and the company was keen to make an offer. I didn’t hear anything until 4 business days after my references had their call, which was a templated email letting me know I didn’t get the job. There was nothing personalized, so I emailed to request some personal feedback. I again received a templated response telling me that their company policy prevents them from sharing specific feedback with candidates. An interview is a two way street, and the least a company can do is let a candidate know what they could do better in the future, or if it’s down to something like qualifications or previous experience not quite aligning with the role, tell them so they don’t doubt their own abilities. Prenuvo you can do better.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What have you learnt from working with teams outside your own?
initial 30min interview with a manager, followed by a one hour interview with two managers and a final interview with the department head where they will ask for references after that
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Prenuvo (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2023
Interview
Friendly and nice interviewers, left a very positive impression of the company. They ask you a lot of soft skills questions to make sure that you are well-prepared for the job as the role requires strong soft skills (i.e. staying organized, communication skills, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving, etc)
