The interview with Casey went really well. He was personable, asked thoughtful questions, and made me feel genuinely excited about the role and company. He told me I’d be receiving a Calendly link that same day to speak with the next person in the process and that he would remain my point of contact moving forward. Unfortunately, after our interview, I never received that link or any update. I followed up after a few days and still didn’t hear back only to eventually receive a rejection email a full week later. It left me feeling confused and honestly misled, especially since the communication during the interview was so clear and positive. I understand that priorities shift or decisions change, but I do wish the follow up had matched the tone and professionalism of the interview itself. A quick update would’ve gone a long way.
