I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Primrose Schools (Gilbert, AZ) in May 2014
Interview
The interview was a little odd- they were looking for a warm, fuzzy vibe from me, which is totally my personality except when I'm trying to prove how professional and respectful I am, so I felt that they weren't immediately impressed. I was interviewed by the Director and the Assistant Director. The Assistant Director seemed eager to hire me on the spot, but the Director made me wait for over two weeks. She was hesitant because I used to work for a different preschool in town that had a bad reputation (for reasons that made me want to work elsewhere). I called back several times and finally was asked to come back in and they hired me then. I would recommend just flooding them with reasons that you want to work for them, and why they stand out to you as the best preschool around. They are very competitive and proud of their "Primrose Way" of doing things.
In person, on-site, first interview with an administrator and then with the owner of the center. Was given a paper to fill up details including work experience, education, and salary expectation.
