I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Princeton University (Princeton, NJ) in Aug 2016
Interview
Had a Skype interview first. Then I travelled from Europe for an on-site interview lasting a full day. Met with Professor and Lab members. Overall a decent experience. They were hospitable and friendly. They sent an offer within two weeks.
Applied online. Got an email from a professor. Had a video interview first followed by an on site visit. Discussed research mostly, had a good experience. Met the other members of the research group and saw their lab
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Princeton University (Princeton, NJ) in Jan 2022
Interview
The process was well organized (from travel, lodging, scheduling, and entertainment). Very friendly students, faculty, and staff! The team was interested in getting to know my work as well as me personally. Great interview!

I applied online. I interviewed at Princeton University in Feb 2021
Interview
The interview was conducted via Zoom with one faculty member. It was a semi informal atmosphere. Interview duration was about an hour. I was asked a couple of questions on my research and my CV, nothing groundbreaking. I enjoyed the interview process and the chance to get feedback from a senior academic.
