I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Prisma Health (Greenville, SC)
Interview
The interview itself was very professional. There was a phone screening followed by an in person interview. I just want others to be advised that they are unlikely to provide satisfactory pay. I have experience, told them my current pay/pay expectations very clearly, and they proceeded to schedule the interview (for which I used PTO). When I got the offer it was similar in 2019 before the economy was where it is now—-significantly less than they know I’m currently making. It was disappointing and felt a little disrespectful given my transparency.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Please describe a time you were given advice and whether you took it. Why/why not?
Very straight forward, make sure you have good questions of your own prepped. Very nice staff and they answered all my questions. Prepare to answer why you think you’re more qualified than other candidates
Interview was conducted via zoom with the department’s nurse manager. It was very pleasant and I was given time to ask questions at the end of it. I was told that HR would follow up with me in the next few days.
