There's a trend in the market right now where candidates are being interviewed then ghosted thereafter. A recruiter on LinkedIn who works for Aquent reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in interviewing with a company called Profisee. I had a phone screening with the recruiter and from there she set up an interview with the hiring manager at Profisee. The interview was ok because I stumbled a bit. Especially since I don't have extensive experience in marketing database management software. Towards the end of the interview the hiring manager asked if I would be interested in moving forward and I said yes. I think he was just excited because he mentioned he had family in town for Thanksgiving. Never heard from him again. The recruiter reached out and asked me how did everything go and I told her what the hiring manager shared with me. That was the last correspondence with the recruiter because I was ghosted.
