I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2017
Interview
The interview is a lengthy process so you have to get ready to spend 2-3 hours on the first two steps. Me and my husband both applied. He has claims adjuster experience and I have customer service/call center experience. We both didn't get a phone interview. The interview (2 part) has a high emphasis on company's values. Despite the fact that we felt like our values aligned with Progressive's values we weren't selected. Good luck!
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
What would you do if you have to stay late and finish the project?
Based on the past three months what is the trend for sales department (it's usually more detailed and with math, but I don't remember exactly how it went)
A few tips:
1. Familiarize yourself with their values
2. Don't take the test if you are tired, it takes thinking and a good amount of mental energy
3. Make sure you are alone and in a quiet room - they use some audio for the interview
4. If you are bad and math/statistics - review some good old formulas, especially those that include percents, division, etc.
5. While it is a good opportunity try not to get too excited until you get an offer. Many of those who applied did not get thru because there are so many steps. Good luck!
