I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Albany, NY) in Jun 2018
Interview
I applied online at the companies website. My credentials are likely better than average for my age and predicament. I took the required assessment and qualified for two openings as a Medical Representative & Claims Adjuster. I then was contacted by a recruiter for a phone interview, from there I would find out two days later of whether or not I will move forward to the virtual interview. The phone part was very blah, the representative was not enthusiastic at all & only made this process less comforting. They use the STAR method, which is dull and the complete opposite of the conversational approach. My weakness was not thoroughly applying my background to the position and instead, focusing on my career interest in general. I also failed to sell every aspect of what I currently do and what I have done in the past that makes me a valuable candidate..sooo
Good luck!
