I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Providence (Portland, OR) in Aug 2016
Interview
I was contacted by phone after submitting an application online. I got a call back within a week. I spoke with a manager on the phone who arranged for a in person interview. For the panel interview I met in a room with the manager, the director of critical care services, a charge nurse and a staff nurse. I was offered the job, pending a drug screen. The drug screen was followed by an appointment with HR. The onboarding process took about 3 to 4 weeks total.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Providence in Feb 2022
Interview
Interview was fast and simple , with only a few questions and a case study. It was about a total of 30 minutes with a panel of three people, for me at least.
Wasn’t with actual hiring manager. Interviewer talked most of the interview. Otherwise the process was okay. Got to tour the unit post interview which was helpful for making a decision

Question 1
What is an example of a time you had a special connection with a patient?
It starts with an interview with the recruiter. They send your information to the manager. I got an interview with 2 clinical supervisors. It was fairly easy since they asked basic questions that hospitals usually ask.
